About Us

We are a centre that is opened at the heart of Kowloon, in the Kowloon City Plaza (KCP). We have many facilities and an agile team to serve the Ethnic minority community. We do not only serve Kowloon City but in fact our services are open to ethnic minority communities around WHOLE Hong Kong.

Services and Events

We have many currently running and upcoming events & classes in our centre. Many of them are regarding the development programmes for all age groups. Development programmes for the youths are to guide them in their career paths and to equip them with additional skill sets in different fields such as sports, language and technologies. There are some activities for elders which are social gatherings, health check-ups and some classes to improve their literacy in technology and its awareness. Regular after school support classes and activities for housewives will also be availabe.

We believe that every individual deserves access to support and resourcesin the comfort of their Own home. Our dedicated Care Team is here to provide personalized assistance tailored to your needs.

Youth

6-24 years of age, includes personnel and social development of the children and youth and academic support.

Cross-Cultural

To bridge the gap between ethnic minorities and the local community, these activities provide a venue for sharing skills, interests and views that are culture-specific thus leading to the appreciation of cultural diversity.

Media & Computer

To develop the technology skill sets to help them in their career or as a personnel development. There are courses designed around AI, data, website, video editing, graphic design.

Orientation

Orientation activities share be organised to help ethnic minority new arrivals to familiarise with public services and facilities.

families and children

Programmes for families and children to enhance the bonding between parents and children and to spent some quality time together. These shared experiences create lasting memories and strengthen family relationships

Sports

There will be many sports classes for the youth, and adults such as football, cricket, basketball, badminton, swimming and water sports to develop a healthy and active lifestyle and to enhance the bonding.

Language

As one of our main services, we are offering Cantonese and English classes in different levels, and jumpstarting our Putonghua classes to help integrate Ethnic Minorities to the Hong Kong Community.

Health & Wellness

To Enhance the Bond between Ethnic minorities. Encourage ,Promote an awareness of the connections between mental, emotional, and physical health while motivating participants to take a holistic approach to their well-being.

Employment

Encompasses a variety of activities designed to support job seekers. Key initiatives include workshops on Resume and Cover Letter, Career Talks, and Recruitment Outreach, job hunting Strategies,Interview Preparation Sessions, etc.

After School Tutorial

After-school tutorial programs are there to help students with their revisions, homework or any kind of school work.

Facilities

We have plenty of facilities at our centre, designed to meet the needs all ages, kids, youths, elderly and users who needs special care.
With indoor activities in-mind our centre has plenty of spaces which can be used for physical activities, seminars or to host development classes.

Big hall + Classrooms

We have a very large hall for programs that needs large spaces. The hall can be also partitioned into smaller rooms for classes such as computers and arts.

There are many activities and classes down the line to be hosted here such as dance classes, indoor mini sports, family and child activities, development classes, meet & greet and seminars...

Kids Room

Kids room/game room is most attractive to kids and youths. This room is used for activities for children or an entertainment room for youths like playing games, hanging around with friends or playing musical instruments.

Interview Room

We have an interview room for cozy meetings which is also accessible for our member to use.

Pantry/Kitchen

Our large pantry + kitchen are spacious and has lots of storage. It is used for cooking classes and other related activities.

Disablity/baby room

There is a dedicated toilet for disabled people fo easy access or if parents/caretakers of an infant would like to use it.

Announcement + Job Browser

There is an announcement board for the members to browse the latest news and events that are coming in the centre and also they can browse the jobs with ease from the installed job browser system..

What is a Care Team?

Starting November 2024, DREAM Centre established Care team to enhance support for the ethnic minority community. Care team will personally reach out to the community, actively engage with the individuals and families, and provide valuable support and care.
Services include: Outreach/Home Visit, Assisting in Large-scale accident/major Emergency/ Disastrous event, Promote government policies & information& Organize activities

Are services free of charge in DREAM centre?

Yes, Mostly are free, but some development classes require very small amount like 100 HKD and many times they are refundable after you have completed the eligibility criteria of the course.

How to get to the centre?

There are many ways you can come to our centre, from the Westrail line you can get off at the Sun Wong Toi then walk 10-12 minutes to the Kowloon City Plaza at the 5 floor. Or Get off at the Lok Fu station at the green MTR line then walk 15minutes to our Centre. Or Take different types of routes. Details are at the "How To Get There" section.
